UltraEdit is a free text editor available on Windows, Linux, and MacOS. It is particularly dedicated to programmers, administrators, and website editors. Its interface is completely customizable, and everyone can adapt it to their own tastes. UltraEdit supports syntax highlighting for almost all programming languages. By default, most of the current languages are supported, but an additional repository makes it possible to support obscure and little used languages. Integrating an FTP client, UltraEdit is able to open and edit both local and remote files. It even includes tools to automatically compare local and remote versions of your files.
