iMovie is the video editing application offered by Apple and preinstalled on all Macs. Capable of processing HD videos, iMovie provides a number of starter templates to help you create a complete video montage, including information banners, effects, transitions, and even the ability to create generics. With a particularly easy-to-learn interface, iMovie offers Mac users a comprehensive and accessible tool to try their hand at making movies. On one side is the library of clips, opposite a viewing window, while the workspace, the Timeline is under the screen and allows you to modify the location of the clips, their duration, their speed , etc. You can even add voice recordings or musical tracks to enhance your creation. iMovie offers to export your movie in different resolutions on your computer, but also to send it directly to online storage services to share them more easily with your loved ones.
