Editorial review

Waterfox is an open source internet browser for 64-bit systems that aims to be fast and ethical. It is a derivative of Mozilla's famous browser, intended to maintain support for extensions discontinued by Firefox. The waterfox project aims to optimize the fluidity and speed of surfing. It also tries to be an ethical and user-oriented browser. The browser leaves the choice to the user, each security or confidentiality decision is up to him. There is no plugin blocklist, the user decides whether or not to run Java applets and Silverlight applications. Extensions and add-ons including bootstrapped add-ons that can completely change browser functionality and discontinued extensions in Firefox can be run. For the sake of confidentiality, absolutely no data or telemetry is sent, neither to Mozilla nor to the developer of the Waterfox project.
